A lovely Art Nouveau era lavaliere necklace, modeled in 10k rosy yellow gold, whose pendant features two natural, bezel-set, turquoise cabochons— a robin’s egg blue oval, that rests inside the pendant's shapely gold frame, and a slightlygreener (sea foam) pear, that drops below this frame. These turquoise cabochons are vibrant and highly-silicated, with a high polish, and striking light-brown matrix. The pendant’s frame resembles a clutch of bending grasses, andits four "blades" are deeply graved with a series of lines that follow their graceful forms. Threeluminous, white seed pearls dot our pendant, where theseblades of grass come together. This pendantis equipped with a decorative bail (also set with seed pearls). It hangs froma slender, period cable chain.Marked 10k, for purity, the pendant is finished with arich gold bloom. The chain tests 14k gold. Closure is an old spring ring clasp. We love the serene quality of this composition, and the way the natural is contrasted with the refined, here!
